Comprehensive vision examinations are an essential part of maintaining good health and comfortable eyesight. Our examination procedure includes a refraction that measures the optical correction of your eyes and an evaluation of your ocular health. We routinely check for cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Patients with diabetes are closely monitored for retinal changes related to their illness. We want to encourage people who have never had an eye examination to come in and have their vision and eye health checked. We also want to entice patients who have never been to our office to give us a try. To this end, we offer a $30 courtesy toward our normal adult examination fees for your first visit, or a $15 courtesy toward a children's examination. Helium frames from Match Eyewear
We are very excited to add the Helium line from Match eyewear to our frame dispensary. The Helium line combines French design with Italian craftsmanship. This line is elegant couture. The men's and woman's lines are a delight to behold....leading edge design with remarkable colors and highlights. Premium Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate is used in their zyl frames. This material is known for its comfort, as well as its vibrant and bold colors. These frames have to be seen and felt to truly appreciate the craftsmanship.
We make every attempt to carry frames that are well made and fashion appropriate. We feel that this line exceeds our criteria and we are delighted to be able to offer this line to our patients.

The New Biofinity Multifocal
We have been fitting a new multifocals lens from CooperVision called the Biofinity Multifocal. Patients notice that the lens feels comfortable and it provides good distance and near vision for normal tasks. The lenses use their Aquaform® Comfort Science™ technology to provide patient comfort throughout the day. The material retains moisture and resists deposit buildup. The Balanced Progressive™ Technology lens design allows good vision from distance to near, and the range of lens parameters allows us more flexibility to provide vision best suited to your needs.
Fitting this lens requires some time to see what combination works for your work needs, or casual needs. Working together, we can usually come up with lenses that meet your requirements.
For a limited time, all fitting fees would be 50% of our customary charges, with an order of an annual supply of contact lenses. In addition, there is a manufacturer's rebate for an annual supply of contacts in the amount of $45.00.

The summer months usually means more sun exposure. Sunglasses provide protection from the harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun, reduces glare, and provides more comfortable vision when you are outdoors. Travelers and anglers are particularly fond of polaroid lenses. These lenses significantly reduce the glare, which helps you see further down into clear water. This is great when you are fly fishing, or vacationing in the tropics.
